What is included

We start with the groundwork — setting out, excavation, footings and drainage — then build up through blockwork and brickwork, structural steels, roof and weathering. Once you are watertight we move onto first fix, plastering, second fix and decoration. Because the same team carries the job the whole way through, the standards set on day one are the standards you get on handover.

Working around your house

Most of our extension work is on occupied family homes. That means dust sheets and protection where it matters, the site swept at the end of the day, materials stacked tidily rather than dumped across the drive, and a clear heads-up before anything noisy or disruptive happens.

Planning and Building Regulations

Plenty of extensions fall under permitted development, but not all of them. We will tell you honestly which category yours is likely to be in, work to your architect and structural engineer's drawings, and deal with Building Control inspections at each stage so the job signs off cleanly.
